Late Friday evening Rajesh, Teonei and their four boys arrived after a seven plus hour drive from their home in Tracy, California. After they got the boys to bed they stayed up a while to visit and get caught up. Teonei and Teri gave out leaving Rajesh and I to visit until we couldn't keep our eyes open. Rajesh and I had a wonderful visit, talking about his work and his recent trek to the base camp of Mt. Everest. He spent some time in Nepal getting to know how the local people live. He said that going to base camp is quite an adventure and is quite physically strenuous. The base camp is over 18,000 feet so the air is very thin causing him to be rather light headed. He brought back breathtaking photos of Everest. If I get a shot or two I will post them here.
The next day, Saturday was a full day playing with the kids and visiting with the adults. We had not seen them since last September when we went to California for the blessing of their youngest son Summit. Sunday morning they got up early to go to church in Salem with Teonei's mom. At this moment, 8:14 PM, they just came back to our home to spend the night here before heading back to Tracy Monday morning. As soon as they get the kids to bed they will be down to visit and to show us more pictures of Rajesh's trip to Nepal.
